Uplivra Privacy Notice
Version 2026-10 (draft for legal review). This draft is not legal advice and must be reviewed by a licensed attorney before it is relied on. Items in [brackets] must be completed.
This notice explains what Uplivra Technologies LLC ("Uplivra", "we") collects through the uplivra.com website and the customer portal, and what the Uplivra software sends to us.
1. What we collect when you register
- Account details: your name, work email, phone number, job title and password (stored only as a salted hash).
- Company details: company name, size, country, industry and website.
- Marketing details: how you heard about us, and whether you agreed to receive product news.
- Partner details: if you apply to the partner program, the answers on the application.
- Purchases: the plan, modules and quantities you buy. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
2. What the software sends us
Installed Uplivra servers check in with the license service. A check-in carries the license ID, counts of devices per module, the software version, and whether the program passed its integrity check. It never carries your monitoring data, logs, flows, configurations, credentials or device names. Your monitoring data stays on your own systems.
If you turn on the optional AI assistant through Uplivra's service, the questions you ask and the context you choose to send are passed to our AI provider to produce an answer and are not used to train models. You can use your own AI key instead.
3. How we use it
- To run your account, issue licenses, deliver downloads and updates, and provide support.
- To bill you and keep records the law requires.
- To detect abuse, license misuse and tampering.
- To send product news, only if you opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand, in aggregate, which industries and company sizes use Uplivra.
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
4. Who we share it with
Service providers who process data for us under contract: payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, hosting, and the AI provider if you use the hosted assistant. Approved partners see the accounts and licenses they manage for their customers. We disclose information when the law requires it.
5. Cookies
